HOVRS New P3 and P3 NetBook

I just got this email and I find it interesting, yes finally it came to my mailbox so I thought to share this with everyone who wants to join and try this new beta.

The information is from HOVRS:

As shared by Cary, Purple has developed a new software application called, P3. P3 enables video relay, point-to-point, and text relay calls to be placed from the same application. P3 works on a laptop or personal computer that has a web camera. In addition to being incredibly convenient, P3 also provides excellent video picture quality!

We are hopeful that you will join Cary, and a large group of your peers, in testing P3 and providing feedback to our engineers. This will assist us in identifying any bugs the software may have and ensure that P3 is ready to be placed in the hands of our customers nationwide.

In order to participate in the P3 for PC Preview Program, you need a laptop or personal computer that has:

Windows XP with SP2
Internet Explorer 7
Flash Version 8 or higher
Pentium 4 or Athlon 64 CPU
1 Ghz Minimum
512 MB Memory, 1 Ghz recommended
Purple Local Number
Hands On VRS Account and Password

MVP / VPAD+ / The Z OJO and Other News

It has been months that I am trying to get MVP and I keep inviting people and most of them doesn’t understand how the invite system work and I keep explaining to them and they didn’t become purple. They though the invite will just do the work. I decided to give up and let it go, it doesn’t worth it anymore. I am not going to waste anytime anymore.

So I decided that I will be going to purchase VPAD+ for once so I can use it anywhere and I will get it faster than just do the stuipd invite crap. I am telling you, if you want get mobile phones, BUY one rather than doing the invites and it will worth your hassles.

HOVRS have been saying there will be VideoSign 3.0 but where? It’s taking forever, it doesn’t stop there. Why delay or make us to wait too long? They keep saying “It’s coming” but where? I still see VS 2.5 available for download, I just don’t get it at all.

You already know CSDVRS launched thier new “The Z” products but it came to a shock, they now offer “The Z OJO”, but you have to pay for it and it cost almost $110 bucks since you can get for free through SnapVRS, what the point why you have to pay for it? This is really silly. Many deaf people cannot afford these much money if they dont need it. I feel that CSDVRS is copycat SnapVRS and trying to beat them but it won’t happen, why? CSDVRS basically sucks. But if you love them, be my guest and if it makes you happy, go ahead. You are entitled to your own opinion. I have nothing against that either.

Well, alright enough crap about VRS stuff for now. As you know, summer is up so I will not be blogging much and also in August 2009, I am going to discontinue my blog site.
